What this site collects, what it does not, and what your choices are.
Every calculation on this site runs in your browser. The salary you type, your filing status, your state and your deductions are never transmitted to a server, never stored, and never logged. Close the tab and they are gone.
This site has no accounts, no logins and no newsletter. There is nothing to sign up for and no database of users.
What does happen: this site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used, and it shows advertising served by Google. Both involve cookies. That is the entirety of the data collection here, and the rest of this page explains it.
Not collected. The calculators are client-side JavaScript. Your figures are processed by your own device and are not sent anywhere. There is no form submission, no analytics event carrying your salary, and no server-side processing of anything you type.
This is a deliberate design decision rather than a policy promise. You can verify it by opening your browser's network tab while using any calculator on this site — no request leaves your device when you change a figure.
This site uses Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

This site uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google LLC, to understand how the site is used: how many people visit, which pages they open, roughly where in the world they are, what kind of device and browser they use, and how they arrived. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this.
The figures you type into the calculators are not sent to Google Analytics. Calculations run entirely in your browser, and the analytics tag records which page you are on, not what you enter on it.
Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. The data is used only to improve this site and is not sold. Google's use of it is described at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
You can opt out of Google Analytics on every website by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal data relating to you, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
This site holds no personal data about you that it could produce or delete — nothing you enter is stored. Requests relating to advertising data held by Google should be directed to Google, whose privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy explains how it processes data and how to exercise your rights.
Where consent is required for advertising cookies, it is obtained through Google's consent management before personalised ads are served.
The CCPA gives California residents the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
This site does not sell personal information. It does not collect personal information directly. Advertising data handled by Google is governed by Google's own disclosures, and you may opt out of personalised advertising using the controls described above.
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
